Leaving paw prints on your heart!

We haven't posted in a few days because we have been so busy being puppies that we almost forgot to update you on our progress!!!

Earlier this week, our brother Taz and our sister Taffy headed off to a new foster home so that there is less of a load on these two legged people called humans.  I guess we were to busy being artistic by rolling in our poo and painting it everywhere that they decided to separate us so we could start learning how to be puppies, rather than poo artists.

Humans really don't like us finger painting in our doo doo... they also don't seem to like the singing chorus of puppy barking that we do throughout the day, so what do they do??? oh they send out more two legged people to look at us and talk about adopting us!  Not really sure what adoption is, but it sounds like we'll be moving AGAIN!  Sometimes it's confusing being a puppy, but it seems like the people who are visiting are nice.

Two more of our siblings, Tango and Tasha were just looked at shortly after Taz and Taffy were and of course 2 sets of humans came by and they signed some type of paperwork for this adoption that they are talking about.  Tango is supposed to go to a home with a husky who is VERY fuzzy by the way!  Tasha is going to a home with another dog in the rescue named Piper.

Next thing that happened, a lady came by to foster T.I.P. and Tootsie!  So we're now down to only four of us here at the Buck household.  I am one of the luckiest pups on the planet because I am getting to stay here!  This is Tyra speaking by the way... My name is now Nala!  I am still here chillin with my brother Trouble, and my step-siblings Trixie and Tiger.

Tango and Tasha had to go to this place called a vet, and they came home wearing these weird black things around their head to keep them from chewing their stitches!!! They looked SO strange.  Tango had bandages on her feet because she had dew claws that the vet felt needed to be removed.

We sure do cost a lot of money!!! But the humans say we're worth it.  If you could somehow donate to our care, I bet they'd appreciate it since we eat ALOT of food.  They're saying we have to get spayed and neutered (whatever that means).. and that we need to be chipped... ugh sounds awful, but hopefully it's not to bad!  My brother Trouble also has dew claws that need to be removed...

We have enough toys and we're really good about not making as many messes now that we're separated into different places!!! So if you would like to somehow help us, there's a few ways you can... there's a donation link on the right side to this blog, or you can email pittiesandkittiesinc@gmail.com to ask how to donate food or funds for our care.

I hope you'll take the time to look at my siblings and share them so that they can find homes too!  Thanks for reading!

We have arrived at our foster home! 5-20-2013

Oh my goodness.  These people put us in a car with some new lady that we don't know for a VERY long ride in this thing called a car to a place known as San Diego!!!  Then we were dropped off with some more people who are known to be our foster parents.  They seem real nice!

Next thing we know, we're in this big huge white thing that fills with water!!!!!! It was not all that much fun either.  They made us all wet with soap and water!  I guess it's known as a bath.  Well, it was not terrible, but it wasn't the greatest thing either.

Then we got dried off with towels, THANK GOODNESS!!!! And after that we got a nice meal of grain-free puppy food!

We spent the evening napping together, although our brother "Trouble" was barking his head off while we were all trying to sleep!  He is the brat of our little pack of puppies!

This awesome organization called "Operation Blankets of Love" donated some toys to keep us entertained, and these really awesome dog treats!  They also helped with some blankets and a dog bed for us.

We spent part of the night playing in the puppy pen, then slept peacefully the rest of the evening!!! I think this will be a fun experience!  We are glad we get to stay together at least for now... We sure do miss our mama dogs though.

Til next time...
-"The Terrific Ten"

The Beginning...

"The Terrific Ten" were all rescued from the area known as Delano, California by Pitties and Kitties, Inc. based out of San, Diego, CA on 5/20/2013!

There was a plea for help from another rescue coordinator, Barbara Stubblefield, who had received information that two female pit bulls had not been spayed by there owner, resulting in two unwanted litters of puppies.  (Photos sent for rescue plea are below).

Momma Dog #1                                          Momma Dog #2

T.I.P. - Boy puppy                                       Taffy - Girl puppy
Tango - Girl Puppy                                   Tasha - Girl Puppy

Taz - Boy Puppy                                      Tiger - Boy Puppy

Trouble - Boy Puppy                                   Tootsie - Girl Puppy

Tyra - Girl Puppy                                    Trixie - Girl Puppy

Their plea for help was posted for quite awhile throughout the facebook rescue community.

After several days with no help in sight, Pitties and Kitties, Inc. and several volunteers from the Bakersfield area coordinated their save.  The owner kept the two pitbulls, however all ten puppies came to the rescue.

The Buck family stepped up to foster these loving puppies who are now needing funding so that we can get them spayed, neutered, micro-chipped and placed for adoption.

We will be posting updates on them through this blog and on our facebook pages!

Thank you for helping us to save them!!! - THE PAK
